About

“Perhaps they were right putting love into books. Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.”  –William Faulkner

typewriterI started Living Literarily as place to explore the role of literature and creativity in every day life.  It’s meant to spark thoughts and conversation about literature, language, creativity, and other tangential topics.

By “living literarily” I mean that by thinking critically about how to live a creative life we can become more present, alive, and awake to the world. It’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget what makes us connected and human. I believe that words and stories have the power to bring people together and shape more thoughtful lives.

So, enjoy the blog, make some comments, and start living literarily!
